Guy Peak 2005

                        5,168 ft / 1,575 m
          Guy Peak is just off I-90 in the Commonwealth
        Basin.  The north route is an easy scramble if you are looking for a quick / last minute day trip on a
        sunny weekend. Not exactly what I call a wilderness experience but its great exercise and it feels pretty
        good to get in the mountains anyway. I first climbed Guy Peak when I was 16.  Max just turned 16;
        maybe this will start a family tradition...

       We started in the Alpental parking lot and followed the climbers trail to the Guy-Snoqualmie saddle.

                                                                  Small lake at the saddle
           Then we scrambled up to the peak...

climb, you assume the risks, and must assume the responsibility for your own safety.
